SMP is a non-invasive hairline-restoring procedure. As part of the treatment, small colored dots are placed on the scalp. These dots look like real hair follicles. SMP for hair can be useful for people with thinning hair as it can give the appearance of a thicker volume. Such as a tattoo for hair loss can help to fix receding hairlines and narrow down widening hair parts. People who have had hair transplants can also use an SMP tattoo procedure to hide the transplant scars and make their hair appear thicker. People who have gone completely bald can also tattoo their full scalp to give the appearance of a shaved head. Typically only one session is needed to achieve results with touchup if needed
